Rachel Cashman
Rachel Cashman is an executive and leadership coach with over 20 years’ experience working in the public, private and third sectors. Her interest in helping teams to perform in a psychologically safe way dates back to her first job after leaving school.
As a healthcare assistant, aged 16, in a nursing home Rachel witnessed poor care being delivered to elderly residents by members of staff and decided to speak up and raise her concerns supported by her line manager matron. This early experience has shaped Rachel’s commitment to the safety to speak up for better performance and improved care.
Having worked in health policy, commissioning and on the board of three NHS Trusts, Rachel founded The Soircas Consultancy to address issues of psychological safety, wellbeing and resilience at work and works with clients from many sectors including education, health and government departments.
