Dr Neil Modha
Dr Neil Modha is managing partner at Thistlemoor Medical Centre in Peterborough, caring for 30,000 patients from the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough ICS’s most challenged background. 80% of the patients speak other languages and many work in zero hour contracts prioritising their work over their health. Dr Neil Modha is also a GP Trainer, co-clinical director of his Primary Care Network and has led work with Health and Wellbeing coaches, First contact practitioners and Advanced Clinical Practitioners.
He has worked at accountable officer level for Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Clinical Commissioning group and is the clinical lead of the GP Federation. He also co-chairs the developing Place Based Care Board: ‘The Northern Alliance which, during the pandemic, has been working collaboratively across the system to try to ensure patients continue to get a service in outpatients and with diagnostics during the various lockdowns. This work has been shortlisted for two HSJ awards.
