Martin Godfrey
Martin is a practicing GP in south London. He has a life-long interest in health informatics and is currently very involved in the development of digital health initiatives within Primary Care Networks in London. He is a governing body member at Lambeth CCG.
Over the years Martin has developed a portfolio medical career having working in a variety of clinical and commercial roles. He left full time general practice back in the 1980s to enter the world of journalism (he was editor of Mims Magazine and GP Newspaper); then medical education and eLearning (he helped establish the world’s first online medical school in Los Angeles) and PR (he headed Hill and Knowlton’s European Health Practice for 10 years).
Martin is still actively involved I writing and commentating on medical issues online and in the press, radio and TV.
