Louise Patten
Louise joined NHSCC in June 2020, having stepped down as the chief executive of NHS Buckinghamshire and NHS Oxfordshire CCGs in April 2020.
She was previously chief officer of Aylesbury Vale and Chiltern CCG, successfully leading a federation of the two Buckinghamshire CCGs and the successful bid for Buckinghamshire to become one of the first eight Integrated Care Systems (ICSs). In Oxfordshire, her input has supported the system leadership transformation, resulting in the Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Berkshire West STP becoming a third-wave ICS.
Louise also has experience of working at board level within NHS provider and commissioner organisations and has worked for a commercial healthcare company. She describes her approach to commissioning services as ‘patient-focused’, recognising the importance of sustainable primary and community health and care to support out of hospital transformation. Louise maintains her District Nursing registration and has been working on the frontline during the COVID-19 pandemic.
