Dr Charlie Kenward is a general practitioner (GP) at the Southmead and Henbury Family Practice in Bristol and the Clinical Lead for Research and Effectiveness at the Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire Clinical Commissioning Group (BNSSG CCG). He graduated from Bristol Medical School in 2010 and subsequently lived and trained in Bath, Swindon and London, before returning to Bristol. After training as a GP Dr Kenward completed a Master’s degree in Public Health at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, specialising in data science and Health Economics, and also worked for NHS England on improving the quality of care within general practice. In his current role with the CCG his work is focused on how we improve the outcomes that matter to people and on joining up and making better use of the valuable health data we have within our health and care system.
