Anna Parry worked for the London Ambulance Service (LAS) as the Deputy Head of Olympic Planning prior to joining the Association of Ambulance Chief Executives (AACE). Anna previously worked in NHS project management roles for a cardiac network and a primary care trust.
Her career in the public sector commenced on the National Graduate Development Programme for Local Government during which she studied for a Diploma in Local Government Management. She subsequently completed a Master’s in Public Management at Warwick Business School.
Anna is responsible for determining and ensuring delivery against the AACE’s strategic priorities – in conjunction with chief executive officers and chairs – and overseeing the AACE’s national programme, which is comprised of the ten national director group work programmes and AACE-specific projects. Anna also deputises for the Managing Director in all areas of AACE business. Anna is particularly passionate about employee mental health and wellbeing and helping to ensure that staff feel supported and cared for to enable them to provide the optimal level of care to patients.
