Primary Care Zone | The digital primary care home: moving from extraordinary to ordinary

20th June, 2:45-3:30pm  |  Exhibition Hall

Chair: Matthew Walker, Director of Strategy, NAPC.

Digital and tech innovation in healthcare is happening and will continue to happen at a faster pace. The primary care home approach is the ideal adopting ground for innovation, not because of its scale but because of the innovative culture it encourages and the relentless focus on the needs of the population and the clinicians that serve them.

The marketplace is in its infancy but crowded with a confusing array of products which is hampering the ability of primary care to deliver a useful digital experience for patients and professionals alike. Technologies that are commonplace in other parts of our patients’ and colleagues’ lives are still not widely adopted in primary care. How can we go from a situation where a digital PCH is not extraordinary but ordinary?
