The annual NHS Employers Partners programme supports around 40 participating health and social care organisations to progress and develop their performance and to build capacity in the areas of diversity and inclusion. The programme has now been running for over 10 years and has supported in the region of 300 health and social care organisations in that time.
Furthermore, the diversity and inclusion Partners programme uses an approach based on the NHS Employers’ Develop, Spread and Sustain model.
The programme is underpinned by several well researched concepts:
- The way in which best practice is developed;
- How information is shared (spread) through networks;
- How improvements are sustained.
Find out from two diversity Partners who have benefited from the programme and have been recognised for their work: University Hospitals Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust and Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust.
