The challenge to vaccinate everyone: how to reach all communities

17 Jun 2021
FZ - Protecting health, Improving health
Protecting health, Improving health

The session is a chance to hear from some of the people at the forefront of the successes of the vaccine rollout so far. Delegates will have the the opportunity to explore how we can build public trust in the value of all vaccines and help build long-term support for immunisation.

There will be the chance to reflect on the positive lessons that have been learned during COVID-19, particularly the speed with which the NHS embraced digital solutions and delivered a successful vaccination programme. As the panel discusses how vaccination programmes are most effective when teams can identify the right people at the right time, delegates will be able to explore how the healthcare system can look to contact the hard-to-reach groups, as well as identifying ways to encourage uptake, which are major challenges facing health and care today.

This session is delivered in partnership with NHS South, Central and West.

This session forms part of the Protecting health, Improving health feature zone that is supported by NHS SCW.
