As the NHS moves further towards implementing integrated care system (ICS) structures, finding ways to embed collaborative system-wide working is becoming increasingly important.

Recognising the opportunities this presented, Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust implemented a new materials management system across its non-acute settings, which centralised materials management and ordering via NHS Supply Chain’s e-commerce solution, EDC.

This session will explore how staff and patients have benefitted, as well as exploring the role of e-commerce from an ICS perspective. NHS Supply Chain will also share its plans to support and develop its service to meet the evolving needs of the NHS.
