This session will consider how integrated care systems (ICSs) can be an effective vehicle for collaboration between the NHS, local government and other key partners to improve health and wellbeing outcomes, join up and improve services, and achieve the most from public resources.

It will use existing good practice of partnership between the NHS and local government to identify the essential characteristics of an effective ICS.
